The Francis Wyman Association hosted a Patriots Day commemoration of Amos Wyman giving refuge to John Hancock and Sam Adams at Amos’s home as they fled the British on April 19, 1775.
The Francis Wyman Association hosted a Patriots Day commemoration of Amos Wyman giving refuge to John Hancock and Sam Adams at Amos’s home as they fled the British on April 19, 1775.
Needed exterior repairs and painting of the Homestead was initiated in 2024, and by August work was well underway.
Through both the physical and monetary efforts of members of the Association, we were able to complete the rebuilding of the well-sweep in 2023. Thank you to all of those who helped make this a reality!
