2025 Wyman Journal

Issue 40 of the Wyman Journal Newsletter has an update from Jon Wyman, President, on the work completed on the Homestead in 2024-2025, most important being the exterior repairs and painting. Also in the issue are announcements of the launching of our updated website and the date of this year's Annual Meeting (Saturday, September 20th). Notes from the 2024 Annual Meeting and, of course, our list of the most recent FWA donators are included, too.
Patriots Day Commemoration Hosted by FWA

On April 19, 2025, the Francis Wyman Association hosted a Patriots Day commemoration of Amos Wyman giving refuge to John Hancock and Sam Adams at Amos's home as they fled the British on April 19, 1775.
Wyman Homestead Exterior Repair & Painting

Needed exterior repairs and painting of the Homestead was initiated in 2024, and by August work was well underway.

Historic Well-Sweep Rebuilt

Through both the physical and monetary efforts of members of the Association, we were able to complete the rebuilding of the well-sweep in 2023. Thank you to all of those who helped make this a reality!
