Burlington MA Historical Commission

The Burlington Massachusetts Historical Commission is a commission within the Burlington town government.

The Burlington MA Historical Society maintains a museum in Burlington as a cultural resource connecting Burlington residents and visitors to the town’s unique history.

Woburn MA Historical Society

The Woburn Historical Society was founded in 2006. The entirely volunteer organization’s mission is to preserve and promote the history of Woburn through education and increased awareness of the community’s rich heritage and culture.

First Burial Ground of Woburn, MA

The First Burial Ground of Woburn, MA, also known as the Park Street Burial Ground, is where Francis Wyman was interred in 1699. This historical cemetery includes many other early Wymans as well. It is located on Park Street in Woburn, MA.

The cemetery is locked but you can gain access by calling the Woburn Cemetery Department at 781-937-8297.

Billerica Historical Commission

The Billerica Historical Commission is responsible for community-wide planning for historical preservation. Many of its activities are interrelated with those of other Town Boards and Commissions. Its most important functions are to preserve and categorize historically significant properties, structures, and landmarks.

Wyman.org is a searchable genealogical website of descendants of John Wyman of Westmill, Hertfordshire UK. It is continuously updated by John H. Wyman of Ohio. Currently, the website contains 72,500 individuals, about 16,000 of whom had the Wyman surname at birth.
