We had a fantastic Wyman Annual Meeting Day. We had a brief business meeting followed by our traditional Family photo at 12:00.

After lunch we enjoyed a presentation by Kath Hirbour of the American Textile History Museum on how the flax flower is turned into linen cloth, including flax and wool spinning demonstrations by Barbara Provest.

Rebecca Lofgren was in costume adding to the colonial flair of the day. John Goff, from Historic Preservation and Design, likes to think that the demonstrations and lessons we experienced were among the first offered by the new Wyman Preservation Skills School (WPSS ) that John will be developing in more detail over the next 9 months.
