June 2016 Open House

We celebrated 350 years of the Francis Wyman House and the beginning of Burlington on June 11, 2016, at the homestead.

The Burlington Historical Commission opened up six historical sites to the public, including the Francis Wyman House.

Visitors could see where Sam Adams and John Hancock hid from the British Regulars on April 19, 1775, at the Amos Wyman House. We provided walking tours from our house to the cite of the Amos Wyman Homestead once per hour starting at 11:30 am.
