We experienced the first industrial city in America, where innovators harnessed waterpower and created factories that were vertical assembly lines for cotton cloth weaving. We learned about the mill girls and the immigrants who provided the labor to make it all work. We learned about the role Wymans played in this advancement, including William Wyman, who developed real estate in the city, and his daughter Sarah Wyman Whitman who became an artist and entrepreneur in Boston.

Members and friends of the Francis Wyman Association joined us for this very special FWA day as we celebrated our family's 350th year in Burlington, MA. After the business meeting at 10:00 am, we assembled for the family photo session, followed by lunch.
