Annual Meeting 2019
September 21 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Francis Wyman Association 2019 Annual Meeting will be at Lowell National Historical Park
Experience the first industrial city in America. Here innovators harnessed waterpower and created factories that were vertical assembly lines where cotton wove into cloth. Learn about the mill girls and the immigrants who provided the labor to make it all work. Also, learn the role Wymans played in this revolution, including William Wyman, who developed real estate in the city and his daughter Sarah Wyman Whitman who became an artist and entrepreneur in Boston.
